Mr. Hamelin has over 33 years experience in mining operation, and project management mainly acquired in the Sudbury and Abitibi camps in Canada. Mr. Hamelin holds a Mining Engineering Degree from École Polytechnique de Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and Professional Engineers of Ontario. Mr. Hamelin has extensive experience in base and precious metal underground operations. In April 2022, Mr. Hamelin joined Abcourt Mines Inc. as the President & CEO to take the company into the next phase of growth. The primary focus of the company is to grow Sleeping Giant Mine into commercial production, and build a mining camp around the Sleeping Giant Mill.
