Pim has 20 years experience in the mining industry and 15 years in private equity investing in the natural resources space. He is a Portfolio Manager at Hawke’s Point responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring mining investments. Prior to Hawke’s Point he set up and ran Xstrata Ventures, the internal private equity arm of Xstrata with a mandate to invest in early-stage mining companies and emerging mining technology companies. From 2008 to 2010 he worked at Och Ziff's sub-Saharan natural resource investment fund. Mr. Kalisvaart started his career at JPMorgan, where he was an investment associate for the European mining M&A team.
